нαρρу вιятн∂αу кιѕнσяє ∂α

About him:

Kishore Kumar (Abhas Kumar Ganguly in his childhood) (August 4, 1929 – October 13, 1987) was Indian film playback singer and actor. Along with Mukesh and Mohammed Rafi, he dominated Indian film playback music from the 1950s to the 1970s. Kumar also achieved notable success as a lyricist, composer, producer, director, screenwriter and scriptwriter.

Kishore Kumar was a prolific vocalist and sang in many Indian languages including Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Assamese, Gujarati, Kannada, Bhojpuri, Malayalam and Oriya. He is also widely regarded as the most versatile singer in the history of Indian cinema and a maverick of sorts for lending his voice to songs that did not conform to the norms of the day.

In October 1987, he died following a massive heart attack. He had been married four times and is survived by his two sons Amit Kumar, who made his career in playback singing in Bollywood and Bengali films, and Sumit Kumar.

Things we have in common that make him my favorite:

>>His nature was unpredictable. He always had a funny way of looking at things.

>>He never used to get satisfied from his singing and always tried to better himself.

>>He always wanted the world to remember him so do i...

Once when his 4th wife had asked him why does he struggle so hard for acknowledgement? His answer was “you’ll see someday that the world is gonna remember me forever”

And the world does remember him and will keep remembering him.

>>Another thing that we have in common is that we both were rather are crazy for movies.

I heard he used to drag his son to movies every Friday Saturday and Sunday watching all three shows from afternoon to night (so exciting!!!!!!!)

I wish I could have been his son just for the reason of movies. [: 5]

My favorite song:

Actually I can’t rate his songs as first second or third .I am not capable of that yet for rating “his”

Songs But each song was a delight.

He was the “Yoodaley king”

I remember myself practicing the yoodley whenever I used to hear his songs.

Let it be the naughtiness in “Roop tera mastana” or the comedy in “Khaike pan banaras wala” or the sensual “Zindagi kaisi hey paheli”……………

Pag ghunghroo baandh” from “Namakhalal ”,

“Chingari Koi Badke” from Amar Prem

“Choo Kar Mere Mann” from Yarana.

Each song had its flavor and I enjoyed it all.

KISHORE DA …………………..WHEREVER YOU ARE WITH ALL MY HEART I WISH YOU MANY , MANY HAPPY RETURNS OF THE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
